Lubrication and rust prevention of elevator wire rope
In recent years, the large number of applications of small machine room and machine room free elevator have achieved remarkable effect in saving civil construction costs and reducing energy consumption, but at the same time, the use of low-power permanent magnet synchronous tractor has brought about the reduction of the diameter of the tractor wheel. The small diameter of the rope reduces the corrosion resistance of the wire rope to a certain extent, making the corrosion of the wire rope more likely to occur.
When there is a lack of lubrication of the wire rope, special wire rope maintenance grease should be used for oiling. According to different coating methods, elevator wire rope grease can be divided into wire rope surface grease, wire rope core grease and wire rope maintenance grease. Surface grease and hemp core grease are generally used in wire rope manufacturing, and maintenance grease is used for daily maintenance. Because the core grease will slowly penetrate into the outer steel wire during the operation of the wire rope, the surface grease and the core grease should also have a certain compatibility.
Some manufacturers also produce the corresponding core fat while producing the surface fat, which not only ensures the performance of the core fat, but also ensures that the performance of the core fat is not affected after the core fat is extruded and mixed with the surface fat. Some foreign manufacturers, surface grease and hemp core grease use the same grease. There are also articles suggesting that the surface grease of the wire rope be used as maintenance grease and oil the wire rope after heating. Compared with the surface grease, the maintenance grease does not need to be heated, and can be brushed directly after cleaning the wire rope, which is more convenient.
In the oil coating process of wire rope, the grease can be evenly coated on the wire rope. The commonly used oiling methods are: oil before wire twisting, oil after wire twisting, rope strand oil, wire rope oil or a combination of several methods. Among them, the oil can make the strand steel wire fully lubricated, and the performance of the wire rope is more advantageous. In foreign countries, no matter whether other oiling methods are used for twisted strands, oil spraying in the ply process is a necessary lubrication process.
