Wire rope is an important part of rigging, mainly for lifting, traction, tension and load, in use often deformation phenomenon.

It is easy for the wire rope to collapse when it is unwound on the reel. The permanent deformation of wire rope after local twisting is called wire rope kinks.
In the operation, we should pay special attention to the daily use and maintenance of wire rope, so as to make the equipment play the maximum economic benefits. The following are some detailed maintenance matters.
1. The pulley and drum of the wire rope should not be burr or broken. The corner contact of the wire rope and the equipment should be protected by wooden plate.
2. The whole rope should not be cut at will. If you want to cut off, before cutting off, you should first turn wire and rope clip, and then use a guillotine, hacksaw, gas cutting, etc.
3. The use of sufficient safety reserve, lifting capacity must not exceed the allowable tension.
4. Storage should be rolled into a plate, flat on the board of dry warehouse.
5. In use, there is an oil extrusion is broken omen, immediately stop the inspection.
6. In the operation, it is prohibited to contact the wire rope with the wire, so as not to break the wire rope.
7. The use should be smooth, not impact, not overload.
8. Lifting use, shall not be sharp Angle twists and turns or ring, shall not be clamped, smashed, flattened.
If it is carried out in strict accordance with the standard specifications in the process of normal maintenance, it will certainly make the equipment operation more safe and reliable, but also effectively extend the service life of the equipment, and bring more economic benefits to the users.
